Well. I guess CPAC is not as bigoted as I'd thought. They will be conducting a pro-gay rights panel titled "A Rainbow on the Right: Growing the Coalition, Bringing Tolerance Out of the Closet.” Jonah Goldberg, Jimmy LaSalvia of GOProud, and others will speak.

Bloomburg cites Socialized Medicine and the costs of society when people consume transfats, salts, and 16 oz sodas as a reason to ban them.

Using that same logic, shouldn't sodomy be outlawed?

Obese people die quickly in minutes from heart attacks.

AIDS patients linger on for decades costing taxpayers millions in healthcare costs.

Hell, society would save money if there were more obese people. Never have to pay for their healthcare, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, or welfare if they are on it.

Guess the Left doesn't like using the logic of the Left to its logical conclusions.

Michigan Senator Carl Levin announced today that he will be retiring after he finishes his term next year. The Democrat senator stated he won’t be running for re-election in 2014. The 78-year-old, who is the chairman of the Armed Services Committee, is also one of the most influential members of the Senate. In a statement released by the close of business today he wrote,

“This decision was extremely difficult because I love representing the people of Michigan in the U.S. Senate and fighting for the things that I believe are important to them”.
