I wondered myself why Joe Wilson hasn't been mentioned. His other fellow US House Republicans from SC Mulvaney and Gowdy were also named as possibilities. He was unopposed in the 2nd District this time. Looks like he's aiming to follow his predecessor Floyd Spence in being a career senior Representative.
