Radical Taliban Conservatives? Really? Who denied this POS a fair trial? You might look to your own Democratic party, past and present, to see where miscarriages of justice have happened.
Actually, Canada is even more intolerant.
Got a dog in on this fight, I take it?
I disagree with this article: god did not create beer. LOL
The guy has billions, and anyway, he needs to feel good about himself, in a fashion that makes liberals feel good. Drop in the bucket, indeed.

Yeah, but the liberal apologist will imply that this was a white on white crime. Nothing to see, move along...
Taking the marshal-like metaphor in another direction, I would say that the Red Army has the firepower, in the form of higher principles and values, than that of the Blue Army. I would even go further and say that it is the Red Army that is with the greater number of troops, in the form of more Americans who gravitate to the more "Conservative" side. What the Blue Army has is a good number of guerrilla fighters and snipers, and other "dirty" tactics, to undermine the Blue. I say that Conservatives play by the tactics of the left, and use those tactics against them.

Perhaps a bit too cynical and one-sided, but no less apt an analysis. I would take the position that it is (collective) virtue of a nation that defines its capacity to sustain and widen the prospects of liberty. We have been witness to an erosion of those sustaining virtues. Just my .02 cents.
