The grassroots have simply got to understand that they are in the majority and that the power they have, endowed by our Creator, will get US through this and any other storm that comes our way. God is constantly challenging US. It is to help us grow stronger, but as long as we do not have the strength of His purpose, we lose. TeaParty minded people have to work within their communities to stress this. This election is really all about taking back this government, shrinking it, and re-creating a mindset that we are endowed by our Creator to live the American dream.

"...re-creating a mindset that we are endowed by our Creator to live the American dream."

Interesting notion, in view of my observation that many people at TH associate the "American dream" with the wasteful, bloated consumerist lifestyle that prevailed before Reaganomics started to destroy the middle class. Somehow, I don't think the Creator looks kindly on wretched excess.

It is so tough being a conservative these days.

When I first heard about published reports that Chick-Fil-A had supposedly reached some kind of an “agreement” with a bullying Chicago alderman to stop donating money to Christian groups like Focus on the Family in order to get permission to open a new store in Chicago, the anguished phone calls from Chick-Fil-A supporters came flooding into my radio show today.

If the reports are even remotely true, the backlash from Judeo-Christian conservatives might just make the opposition that the activists drummed up seem like a walk in the park...
