Social Security fund was supposedly paid this 2% difference from the general fund which comes from Income Taxes. Or at least that is what Congress has alluded to. SS taxes should never have been allowed to be used to aid Obama in this mess. Congress should not have been allowed to mix apples and oranges which is what SS taxes and Income Taxes should be. The sheeple don't even know what is going on and probably don't care as long as "I get mine".

Despite Americans seeing a two percent jump in their Social Security taxes and less money in their bank accounts after the fiscal cliff deal was signed via auto pen on behalf of President Obama last week, the White House is pretending rates stayed the same. In an email to supporters yesterday, White House Senior Adviser David Plouffe wrote:
