True I don't appreciate the government messaging - I'd rather it be through a private entity. Government doing it is a form of propaganda - and they do that quite a bit already.

My point was not that cigarettes and alcohol weren't drugs - it's they've been legal - so it's difficult to make it illegal as the prohibition proved. Money spent on pointing out what a loser you are to do drugs would be money well spent. Money spent - as it has been on cigarettes - to make it less appealing was money well spent.

It's liberals like those in California who want the legalization of drugs - and have done so. I have no problem - let California do it then all the deadbeats will move there -(they are prevelant now as it is) just don't expect the rest of the country to bail them out! It's their bed let them lie in it. The very liberal White House is for banning food items - so don't tell me it's otherwise. It's a liberal cause to legalize drugs and ban foods. Of course it is easier to control people who are under the influence.

I understand the arguments that without the laws - it will ease the criminal element. However, it is a Pandora’s box - once opened it will not be put back. Alcohol was legal and then it wasn't - so wasn't it therefore originally more accessible to everyone so when taken away a larger sum of people missed it - particularly the alcoholics? We know it is NOT healthy for a person. We know it can be highly addictive. Drugs are far more addictive and destructive then alcohol, cigarettes, and food items (ie. Chocolate, salt, trans fats, etc.). Those under the influence of drugs may be more susceptible to creating car accidents under the influence. May hurt others in a state of intoxication - besides any harm they can do to themselves. ...

The environmentalist will destroy our earth and many humans and animals. They unfortunately think they are intelligent and all knowing - a recipe for disaster. Occasional fires are natures way of cleaning up the "house" - when you don't allow the debris to clean - the fires be uncontrollable like Arizona and the ones that California gets all the time. As a side note their interference in our light bulbs - pushing CFL bulbs will give rise to mercury poisoning and fish kills.

Wow that is a broad stroke. Actually, if you thought about it - liberals want big government to make all their decisions (or in the case of Hollywood - decisions for the poor - which won't apply to them). Small government should have no say over these issues - it is outside their constitutional rights. The great irony is libs back the extremism in the Middle East - yet those extremist will smite out the homosexuals and reduce women to 2nd class citizens. People fighting in the name of their God/religion will always win against those fighting for things they don't understand.

That's funny - I always think of creativity as bucking the system. The system is overwhelmingly liberal - so there actions show no creativity. In fact creativity has been lacking in Hollywood for sometime - that is why they keep remaking old movies. Quite frankly, they have probably all just fried their brains from their drug usage - which shows there complete incompetance.
