That's how it works for most people today. Most speak before ever sitting down to think. My linear algebra teacher told our class about a coworker calling him a bigot. He asked them to define bigot. After they defined it in their terms he said "All right by your definition I am a bigot." It was a breath of fresh air to hear such a thing and it made me think.

Ideas are ideas. Do you feel our current president does not have ideas?

I'm only 34 and I'm still learning alot about life. I respect Thomas Sowell. He has far more expierence and if he favors Newt so do I. I liked him better from the start. There is no miracle fix to the country's problems. Can we afford more trouble makers?

Yes OWS requires self sacrafice. They pride themselves in conformity. I'm no fan of OWS. I agree with much more of the Tea party mentality.

Both appeal to people wanting to join a group with hopes to change their situation. I think the real question would be what do those involved wind up recieving if the mission of such movement is accomplished? Who knows.. I respect much of Hoffer's thoughts and am 100 percent on board with having a dislike for the intellects in our country.

I agree. I wish I could find more real hope that we will be o.k. as a country. I fear that there are tough times ahead. We havn't seen tough yet.

Read Eric Hoffer's book on mass movements. Relate the topic to behaviors you see today and then run your mouth about which party is labeled Nazis Mr. WilliamKristol. I'm not gonna run around telling someone they are Nazis but it is important to understand how the Nazi movement got off the ground.
