So there IS the ability to take a situation from 6-12 years prior and say that was the problem, and yet you seem to be agreeing with Crazy Annie that this recovery is something we should not own. We own this, and are proud of the actual recovery. If you want to whine about the shortcomings of the Bush era, then pick your scapegoat, but since Republicans made it clear they wanted nothing to do with helping the Dems and made it their mission to make Obama fail, I think we deserve all of the credit for the current and continued recovery. And since taxes are at an all-time low, lets not be stupid and run this horrible Bush Tax Cuts experiment any longer.

One bright spot of Barack Obama's re-election was knowing that unemployment rates were about to soar for the precise groups that voted for him -- young people, unskilled workers and single women with degrees in gender studies. But now the Democrats are sullying my silver lining by forcing Republicans to block an utterly pointless tax-raising scheme in order to blame the coming economic Armageddon on them.

Democrats are proposing to reinstate the Bush tax cuts for everyone ... except "the rich." (Why do only tax cuts come with an expiration date? Why not tax increases? Why not...
