I have been debating for the last couple of days about the check to the American Red Cross, thinking since half of the countries feels like we should take care of the other half, then if the generous American people would quit opening their pocketbooks above and beyond what they already contribute, then pretty soon there won't be enough money for all these freeloaders who expect other people to take care of them, will have to wake up and decide they will have to do things on their own. I give less and less to Charities today than at any other time but was preparing to write a check to the Red Cross. With this ad coming out, I will no longer support the Red Cross.

Send your check to the Salvation Army! Or better yet, volunteer with them.

On Friday night, swing-voters across the nation saw a one-minute advertisement paid for by the Red Cross featuring President Barack Obama.

The ad comes on the weekend before the election, and while the Red Cross does unquestionable good for millions of Americans, the choice to run this ad comes noticeably close to a campaign endorsement for President Obama.
