I wonder if the the required background check currently, or, in the future will, require prospective firearm buyers produce a photo identification? If so, doesn't this present a problem for the libs/dems/progs who go apoplectic over photo ID for voting?

Every time I've purchased a gun from a FFL, I had to show a picture ID. I'm not sure if that's part of the federal law or not, but if not, then the dealers all seem to be asking for it.
