1) We need to fight for the best deal until the bitter end. 2) When the Democrats refuse to deal we need to have the Republicans in the Senate promise no filibuster of the best compromise budget even if it includes tax hikes. 3) Republican Congressmen who have signed tax pledges need to vote against any tax increase.
