Follow-Up Questions for President Obama

Incompetence and corruption are reaching critical mass.
"There's no there there." I guess that depends on what the definition of the work "is" is. Sound familiar?
The root of our immigration policy is confusing poetry with policy. The next person who quotes the plaque on the statue of Liberty when discussing immigration policy is going to get smacked.

Is it any wonder that the President called to congratulate a man who confirmed to the world that he like to have sex with men, for that reason alone? Is there no higher accomplishment than confirming that you are engaging in sexual relations with no intention of reproduction? Ever? Lines right up with the accolades for Planned Parenthood, and the notion of abortion as birth control - for those unlucky enough to engage in effective heterosexual relations.
I am Jay Carne. If I say something it is true. As true as the green hue of a summer sky.

He was taken on a stretcher after he climbed out of the boat.
Heavier cars generally get lower gas mileage than lighter cars. Heavier cars generally do more wear and tear to the roads than lighter cars. The more miles you drive the more wear and tear you do to the roads. The gas tax for the purpose of maintaining roads is about as perfect as a tax can be. Toll roads are ridiculous. I could maybe make an argument that tolls for bridges are ridiculous as well. Thanks for the article!
Add City Councilman Zach Reid in Cleveland who recently was arrested for his third DWI. All three since becoming a member of the City Council 14 years ago. He will without doubt be reelected again.
I have no problem with the concept of the minimum wage. I have a big problem with a federal minimum wage. This should not be a national policy. It belongs with states and municipalities to compete. That gives the best economic results for everyone. The federal government should not even broach this topic, much less enact such a policy.
Being a Republican is not in and of itself a qualification for this cabinet post. I am sure that if a qualified Republican were nominated he would fly right through. But it is President Obama's intention to make the Republican's look like they are obstructing a grand bi-partisan effort by nominating Hagel for a post he is flatly unqualified for.
Nothing President Obama does make him look bad in the eyes of his supporters. Nominating an imbecile like Hagel is a purely political move. He makes the Republicans look like obstructionists for blocking the nomination of "one of their own" and the President will not let the public forget how he reached across the aisle and was rebuffed. Hagel, being the idiot that he is, played right into it.
