Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God

Basically, large corporations (especially banks) are not much different than government. They both are greedy and screw the working man. At least with the government we get to vote on who will screw us the least. Then you have the Bernie Madoffs. They screw the ones (mainly the people that worship money)who are so blinded by greed that they don't use common sense -- and eagerly join his scam, thinking they will get something for nothing. So, basically there is something out there to leach off everyone!

I'm really against "Faith Based" government support. The reason being it is worse different than "Revenue Sharing", which is the governments way of blackmailing the states and communities to do their bidding. Faith Based funds would be worse in that they would now have a strangle hold on religion. It flies in the face of separation of church and state; and this is just exactly what the likes of the ACLU would love to see!

I like it. It is unfortunate that the Founders couldn't possibly predict every event or cultural change the future held. However, they were clever enough not to write themselves into too many corners. Their final document was, however, written with the idea that Americans would always use common sense in it's application; along with the fact that it was written upon correct, God fearing, irrovocable principles. It is extremely unfortunate that ilk such as the ACLU, and others, including athiests are constantly attempting to destroy our Constitution through their disgusting misinterpretations and twisting of the facts. Their cancerous attempts, i.e. taking Christ out of Christmas (Happy hollidays, etc.) is their way of trying...
Merry Christmas to the ACLU. That ought to get their stinkin' goats! Those bastards! If they tell you you can't pray -- do it anyway. If they tell you not to perform the Pledge of Allegiance or to say: Under God, do it anyway -- what are they going to do about it?
All ACLU attorneys belong on the bottom of the ocean!!

Why Do the Poor Stay Poor?

People like Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerstein and many others who have signed on to the Gates Foundation project need to be applauded for their humanitarianism and altruism. I wish they could be more recognised for their commitment to sharing all or most of their wealth with those projects, such as improving the educational system and medical research among many others. These people can help the entire world to improve the situation with their poor.

So -- all the people living in poverty have to do is: Buy a piece of property that has been surveyed and is shown on a tract map; get a building permit; then get a loan to build a home; hire a contractor and build it. This way everyone can pull themselves out of poverty. How simple! Oh, and of course they should also get a College degree, so they can move up the ladder and take a good job away from the next higher level guy. Then the displaced guy must get additional education, so he can move up the ladder, etc., etc. Ok, now I see how it works. Obviously, there is no reason for any one to be poor.
Finally, some of the more conservative are beginning to realise that the Constitution was written as best it could be, with no possible way to anticipate all the future would bring. They did an exceedingly fine job as it was; especially in attempting to not write themselves into a corner by too much detail, yet allowing for the unpredictable by the "General Welfare" clause. I just wish they could have written in a little more of the "Spirit" of the different parts, to prevent so much confusion as to what their intent was. Of course, many of us that are God fearing, as they were, and having studied the thinking and roots of this great Document, have no trouble understanding what the Spirit was that drove the Document. ...

In your opinion, It doesn't matter what was done. If it was a Democrat who did it , it was the wrong way.
Right on target Michael !
