the double taxation of dividends has always concerned and aggravated me. Dividends are to stock investors what interest is to lenders. The best way to resolve the issue would be to allow businesses to deduct dividends as ordinary business expense and have the receiver of dividends pay their applicable income tax rates on the income. Go Dawgs!

Obama Has It Right on Birth Control

Impotence is a health issue, if you have it you are sick. Pregnancy is not a health issue, if you are pregnant you are healthy. If you can't get pregnant you are unhealthy. You seem to confuse wellness programs with health insurance. It has been some years since I was having my children but when a baby was born healthy, its costs after birth were not covered by insurance even though it was in the hospital. Why? Because it was healthy. Also, I am relatively sure with Viagra, as with all drugs, there is probable a copay or coinsurance applied whenever it is purchased through an insurance plan. So could you at least say it should be treated likewise and not be "free".

What is the rule for women urinating? Also, all of this sensitivity for Islam while they go about killing all the Christians in their countries and destroying all the churches! Really? What a stupid government we have. If we must attack someone, go in there kill whoever we need to kill, break all their s**t and come home. Let them spend their time and money rebuilding and they will leave us the hell alone.

I Love Herman Cain

There are questions and problems with any proposal to replace our current tax system and any plans will have to be fleshed out over many months by tax professionals(?) before any workable plan could ever get to congress. It is like "no one person know how to make a pencil." But what our next president must have is a bold plan as a starting point. Not just an attitude to tinker with the current special interest revenue code. Secondly, Cain may make misstatements occassionally and maybe should be better prepared. But at least he answers the questions directly, unlike most politicians who regurgitate talking points which don't amount to an answer. From Cain's answer you at least know where he stands and if he puts America first, Okay.

Vote For Obama Because He's Black

If being black is the most important issue blacks are supposed to consider in the presidential election, blacks should be registering as Republicans and voting for Herman Cain. After all, he is more black than Obama and may well be the first "black" US President.
I am a Cain supporter, however; it would have been better to let this issue go by without comment. It was Cain who said "America needs to get a sense of humor". I took this to mean we need to dwell on large issues and not actively look for issues to be offended by and deal with real problems. He well knew this issue was being hyped by the liberal media only to harm Republican candidates. When he says things on Hannity like, " I am not saying Rick Perry is racist!" what he is saying is I want you to think he is racist so it will help my run for the nomination. So now this non-issue has harmed at least two Republican presidential candidates. The liberals win again. We make it so easy.
The burden on the tax payer will be enormous, however; how will the IRS handle the volume of paper it is going to receive. The smaller businesses will surely send paper 1099 forms which will overwhelm the system. That is until the IRS requires electronic filing of all 1099 and W2 forms which will again increase burden on businesses. LOL
