In response to:

On Obamacare (and Guns), We Won't Comply

You are absolutely right but haven't gone far enough in your resoming. John is just soooo wrong about Americans because he doesn't know who the "Americans" are today. Today we have a totally different electorate than ever before. Every generation since WWII has wanted more and more and given less and less to the point now that the majority of voters have no 'skin in the game' and they are not going to vote against their own interest to elect politicians who would reduce the 'freebies' they receive. We are in a downward spiral that seems unstoppable. The scary part is that having been the nation with the greatest freedom and liberty in history we will likely end up being the most oppressed before it's all over.

Actually you are full of BS! Yes, more than half of the voting Americans think that someone else should pay for their healthcare, but nowhere near 'virtually all' do. I agree that the problems with healthcare started when the gubermint allowed employers tax benefits for providing insurance that individuals couldn't get, but your conclusion is wrong in its generalization.

Wayne - Oh, I went far enough, allright. For 50 years my motto for Americans, all Americans, is, "More Is Not Enough."

Americans know instinctively that when liberals start talking about deficit reduction that’s it’s just a case of the fantods, as Huckleberry Finn would say. And say what you will about old Huck, but he knew a couple of frauds when he saw them.

No matter what liberal “Wonks” like Ezra Klein say about the historically dumb healthcare “reform” known as Obamcare, Americans are uneasy about it.

And they should be.

More and more law-abiding Americans say that they have constitutional objections to the healthcare and liberty land grab by the Obama administration.

Coming next? It could be guns! ...
