Just Because California Is Terrible, that Doesn’t Mean Texas Is Perfect.

Texas isn't perfect but it's a whole lot better than Kalifornia! In Texas, people are courteous, taxes are lower and life is easier! Try living the good life in South Central or East L.A. where crime is high and the illegals are protected by Tony V.

Welllll.....Speaking as a Ca. ex-pat, I far prefer how Texas is running it's state, but I certainly believe there are South Central equivalents in Tx.

Yes there absolutely are. And THAT is because in a couple of different places (Houston and Dallas) we have WAY too many elected officials that think the Detroit model of urban government is a success.

In the areas where people who have an IQ above 50 Texas is just fine and as long as you do not attempt to break into someones home you will do just fine.

Otherwise not so much.

i CAN TELL A TEXAS NATIVE RIGHT AWAY, we all are friendly until you try to bully us, then Ya Better Bring A Sack Lunch, 'Cause you are going to need it before we let you bully us. When you are driving in Texas, somebody will give you a one finger wave and it will be your (as Festus would say) 'pointy finger', not your middle one! You ask why? 'Cause we are friendly until you stomp on our toes, then "Katy bar the door"! (to you who don't understand, THE FIGHT IS ON!

Texas is in much better shape than California. Taxes are lower, in part because Texas has no state income tax.

No wonder the Lone Star State is growing faster and creating more jobs.

And the gap will soon get even wider since California voters recently decided to drive away more productive people by raising top tax rates.

But a key challenge for all governments is controlling the size and cost of bureaucracies.

Government employees are probably overpaid in both...
