As FINE and WONDERFUL as that is (and it IS), it's not a RIGHT. If the owner of the skating rink wants to LOSE customers (and, thus, MONEY) by not providing the "reserved for the guy with a broken leg" parking space, shouldn't that be HIS decision to make (as the OWNER of a PRIVATE business)? It's ONE THING to say to this owner, You can't "refuse service to anyone" (aka, you can't DENY entrance to anyone [like Blacks, for example]), but it's another thing altogether to say that YOU (Mr. Business Owner) have to foot the bill for making YOUR business "accessible" to EVERYONE.

I'm with you, on not putting up with the lies from politicians, but I'm afraid I can't go along with you on the violence in sports. Football is a VIOLENT GAME, and while I don't advocate the deliberate injury of anyother player, I DON'T want to see the sport reduced to pulling flags out of the opposing team's waistband! Using YOUR logic, actors and actresses (and I use THAT term VERY loosely) in the "porn" industry, should be charged with PROSTITUTION (as they are being PAID to have sex).

BESIDES, I don't want a President (or a Federal Judge) who's empathetic, I want a President (and Congress) who KNOWS that the country CANNOT Tax, Borrow and Spend its way to prosperity! I want a President who can make the TOUGH decisions to CONTROL COSTS (without taking money from the achievers/producers, and GIVE it to the takers [the 99%])!

Forgive me, if I repeat what other may have said, and feel free to correct me, if I'm wrong, but isn't this a PRIVATE university? AND, aren't there a plethora of OTHER Universities to which Muslim students (who don't wish to see Catholic [or even Christian] symbols) can attend? It's NOT like this is THE ONLY university available to them (is it?)! If you DON'T LIKE the teachings or accomodations on this university's campus, might I (respectfully) suggest you seek an alternate location for your "higher learning"?!

It is ALSO greatly dependent on what philosophy is GUIDING the Government's decisions! Let us (YOU, Mr. President) not forget that it was the GOP electoral victory in 1994 that FORCED you to sign the Welfare Reform act (for which you, later, too CREDIT)... An act, which, by the way, you VETOED TWICE, previously, and that helped make that Surplus (that you often tout) possible. SO, TO WHICH Government (that is not a problem) are you referring? The one under Democrat Control - where you VETOED the Welfare Reform act (TWICE) - where GENERATIONS of able-bodied citizens LIVED on Welfare (money being TAKEN from the Producers in Society), OR the one under Republican Control (where you SIGNED that Welfare Reform act) that resulted in people...

The POINT IS, Mr. President, that EVERY SINGLE FAILED (or FailING) country in the would, was put in that position (of failing) BY GOVERNMENT (the actions it takes, and the actions it FAILS to take - on behalf of its citizens). OVERSPENDING (to the tune of $14+ TRILLION) is NOT the recipe for Economic Success. NOT A SINGLE country in the world (successful or otherwise) has TAXED its way to Economic Growth! Government Spending either creates TEMPORARY employment (that either ceases to exist when the government project ends) OR the pay for that employee must be continued Taxes (usually requiring an INCREASE in Revenues to offset the added expense of the employee)!

Sounds like the myriad of Liberals (Main Stream Media and all) who ran with the assertion that Rep. Emanuel Cleaver was spit on (no PROOF). Yes, there's a video which shows a man cupping his mouth with his hands (like a megaphone), shouting at NUMEROUS people walking up the stairs, but there's NO evidence of him spitting on the congressman. Yet the Liberals (especially the talking heads on the Cable shows) CONTINUE to this day to insist that it DID happen.
