As FINE and WONDERFUL as that is (and it IS), it's not a RIGHT. If the owner of the skating rink wants to LOSE customers (and, thus, MONEY) by not providing the "reserved for the guy with a broken leg" parking space, shouldn't that be HIS decision to make (as the OWNER of a PRIVATE business)? It's ONE THING to say to this owner, You can't "refuse service to anyone" (aka, you can't DENY entrance to anyone [like Blacks, for example]), but it's another thing altogether to say that YOU (Mr. Business Owner) have to foot the bill for making YOUR business "accessible" to EVERYONE.

1) Only in America could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000 a plate campaign fund raising event.

2) Only in America could people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when we have a black President, a black Attorney General, and roughly 18% of the federal workforce is black.

3) Only in America could we have had the two people most responsible for our tax code, Timothy Geithner, the head of the Treasury Department and Charles Rangel who once ran the Ways and Means Committee, BOTH turn out to...
