The Education Earthquake In The Rocky Mountain State

I have lived in Colorado for the past 10 years and this is at least the 3rd & maybe the 4th time in that 10 years that the political elites in the State Government have come begging for more money "for education." Every time they told us how just another little tax increase will do so much to improve education for the kids here. Finally, it appears the people here have had enough and aren't buying this boy crying wolf nonsense anymore. All the previous initiatives using the Kiddie Human shields passed & I thought for sure the dumb masses would fall for it yet again. I'm quite happy they didn't this time. For the past month or so, almost daily in the mail I got some flyer with pictures of little kids and scare mongering about how they won't get an education if we don't cave to the latest extortion demands from the Teachers Unions and Denver Political Elites. Honestly, it's sickening to see those tactics. For once, the people sent a clear message that before we fork over more money yet again, show some damn results for a change. None of the previous tax hikes improved education here, it's not lack of money that is the problem. It's lack of accountability and standards
