The H-1B issue is not a conservative vs liberal issue. For that matter, immigration issues are not liberal vs conservate either. Ronald Reagan granted Amnesty to millions of illegals, GWB tried to do the same thing.

WRONG! I agree with most of the article, but this part is wrong: "Created in 1990, the H-1B program was designed for employers to import foreign H-1B workers to fill various high-tech jobs only when Americans could not be found, and the law was supposed to make it illegal for an employer to replace an American with an H-1B worker." The H-1B never had such a provision. Such a provision would go against everything the H-1B stands for. The H-1B does not require that an American cannot be found. It is entirely okay to fire an American for no other reason than to replace him/her with a cheaper H-1B. Americans are forced to train their H-1B replacements all the time.
