For the conservative's to win any elections it seems we need to figure out a way to have a national voice that sways opinion. How do we do that? We need to figure out a way to buy some of the major newspapers or major broadcast news channels like ABC, NBC or CBS. We need to level out the playing field. Having only FOX leaves us at a decided disadvantage. When people have their newspaper delivered to their home daily, with their slanted views of what's going on in America is a tough thing to overcome. Americans have been brainwashed into believing myths, like the rich should pay their fair share, when raising their taxes will not make a dent in the real problems facing this country

Even Fox sometimes drifts left. This situation you so accurately describe is probably going to be impossible to reverse.
The beginning of a new year is often a time to look forward and look back. The way the future looks, I prefer to look back -- and depend on my advanced age to spare me from having to deal with too much of the future.

If there are any awards to be given to anyone for what they did in 2012, one of those rewards should be for prophecy, if only because prophecies that turn out to be right are so rare.

With that in mind, my choice for the prediction of the year award goes to Bret Stephens of the Wall...
