The system is corrupt and growing more so as time passes. The tax laws are a mess that is designed to favor those who bribe our elected representatives. The seniority system employed to keep incumbents in place until they are geriatric cases is a disgrace and results in making party hacks petty despots. For all practical purposes we are broke thanks to those we have sent to the country's capitol and that includes the inexperienced person presently occupying the White House. And, we are supposed to be concerned about a brain drain in the D.C. area?

Enough of these foreign military involvements. Enough of our young men and women returning from these useless military engagements maimed physically and mentally. Enough of the waste of our country's resources for no apparent advantage. When will we say "ENOUGH!?"

Excellent list of Obama's list of accomplishments.
At what point was the Associated Press empowered to modify then English language? The facts are the AP, as a result of its own serious shortcomings, has lost a lot of the respect it had once commanded. their objectivity has come to be questioned by a large percentagevof the public so for what possible reason should their efforts influence how Islamic terrorism is defined semantically have any enjoy widespread approval?

Urban Problem Bigger Than Detroit

Katrina did the job in New Orleans but unfortunately there is no Katrina on the horizon where Detroit and the other cities in dire financial and political straitsare concerned. Race baiters like Jackcon and Sharpton will exploit every opportunity to profit from the misery they have helped to create. Like their friends and supporters on the left they will assume no responsibility for their failures and will, in fact, continue to support the same corrupt leadership that has brought about the situation. Good luck with making the chnges necessary. Not much chance of that happening.
U.S. foreign policy should not hinge on whether some Pakistani in some backwater podunk approves or disapproves of us. Attitudes of a third world country man-on- street with regard to the U.S. has been given respectability and deep meaning by the Madison Avenue mentality that sees deep meaning in the outcome of every screwball poll hatched in the foggy mind of some advertising account executive. It's all just one big "Shock and Awe" operation.
Were not the majority of the 911 terrorists from Saudi Arabia?

The pols and bureacrats in DC don't want any reductions. They won't get their annual wage increases. And if real cutbacks were to be made they might evn have to takeup ObamaCare likecthe restof us.
You just don't get it Doug. Putting women on the front lines isn't about winning battles. Our political leaders find winning to be distasteful unless its them running for office. Obama and his sycophants find military victory distasteful hence the one's apology to the Japanese. Political correctness, that's what matters for these emotional metro-unisex mentalities. It's all about feel good ideology. It will all come to a disastrous end when reality meets their fantasies.

Will Obama Shun 'Perpetual War'?

Military weakness is not the result of an unwillingness to engage in one war after another. Our resources have been wasted and more important the lives and welfare of thousands of our fellow Americans have been sacrificed for debatable reasons. It's time we bring our troops home from Europe and with a few exceptions from everywhere else as well.
