I wrote earlier this month about an honest liberal who acknowledged the problems created by government dependency. Well, it happened again.
First, some background.
Like every other decent person, I was horrified and nauseated by the school shootings in Newton, Connecticut.
Part of me wishes the guy hadn’t killed himself so that he could be slowly fed into a meat grinder.
And my friends on the left will be happy to know that part of me, when I first learned about...

I heard that Mexico will not permit the DEA agents and other U.S. law enforcement to carry in Mexico.
That raise two questions, why is it necessary for U.S. agents to be in Mexico and if they are not permitted to carry why are they brought home?
I concur. In Mexico, it is virtually impossible to obtain a conceal-carry permit unless you happen to have very privileged connections with higher-ups within the political class. The worst part of Mexico's anti-gun policies is that gun violence between non-cartel people has always been HIGH, so just for starters, these laws do NOTHING to stem gun violence. Besides, the number of people robbed, beaten, raped and/or kidnapped by armed thugs has not gone down since the tightening of gun laws, it is still high enough for Mexicans to tell stories of relatives suffering any of those crimes. It is THAT prevalent - indeed, Mexicans cannot lecture Americans about guns. I admonish my fellow Mexicans for their self-righteousness.
