Gee, I wonder if the fact that whites make up about 70% of the population have anything to do with that? That sorta took the air out of your tire didn't it?

I keep wondering when someone is going to question the parenting skills of TM mother. It doesn't seem that she provided any discipline, guidance nor structure to his life even though he lived with her and not his father. If he (at 16-17) was heavily into drugs, in to burglary, owned a semi-automatic pistol and was constantly in trouble at school, she should bear the burden of responsibility for his actions. I read earlier today that the family were no strangers to having to engage lawyers multiple times to bail their son out of legal situations.

This is the 'condition' that I have always maintained is the curse of the black population - they are first and foremost tribal! I have many black friends that are educated, well spoken and a joy to be around most of the time, but even for them it is submitting to the group-think that defines their lives overall, and it is difficult to convince them they are submitting to 'group-think' even while they admit that every black should support Obama regardless of his policies, his abilities, or his overwhelming mass of mistakes, blunders and downright stupid moves both domestically and internationally..

The Mindset of the Left: Part II

The 1st time my wife and I visited San Francisco we took a city tour conducted by a Chinese man. In conversations he informed us that his entire family, Mom and Dad, sisters and brothers, married or not, with children or not, all lived together! No one kept one dime and any earned salary, but instead handed it over the Father who parceled out some of it but retained the bulk for investment. He said the family had six businesses at the time, and when one wasn't working in one of them they would work part time jobs elsewhere. I guess socialism can work when you keep it in the family.

I read the other day that a sub-set to the clamor over the loss of the green space was that the particular spot was associated with the reign of Ataturk, the greatest leader of Turkey in modern time. Erdogan's plan for a shopping center there is seen as a way to remove secular life more easily and to promote Islam.

If you had been there in '78, as I was, you would have known by the stacks of VC/NVA bodies everywhere. As is the case presently, you couldn't get the MSM to report, nor investigate, anything that was not of the Democrat Party/anti-war interests. And yet the party of the donkey want you to get amnesia when it comes to who started/continued the Vietnam war.

Actually it was the Democratic House/Senate that withheld funds to the Vietnamese to continue (after we pulled out).

I don't believe it fair that you want obama gone in such a short time as four months. Minnie the moucher doesn't have enough time in four months to complete her globe trotting schedule if that limited period is placed on her - remember, she still hasn't done the Greek Isles, Rio, The Pyramids (can't wait for that), etc. Have some compassion here folks ...
He had to do it on the Senate floor where he is protected, otherwise he would have left himself open to charges of slander and libel.
Cost has never been the main consideration for most of the people who didn't have coverage. A great deal of the reasoning was a simple denial of the necessity for insurance! Young people have rarely considered their mortality until marriage and maturity forced them to judge between common sense and instant gratification. Add to that the dead beats that game the system as the 'poor' and fill the emergency rooms of all hospitals every Saturday and Sunday.
