I used to work for the military in construction management. We built a training facility on a naval installation where the bathrooms had to have handicap accessible facilities. Didn't matter that there aren't and never will be any handicapped people on this military base.

Osteopaths are not MD's. They have a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree. Not the same thing by any means.

Why do you always extrapolate someone's comments to the extreme? That's showing your ignorance and insensitivity.

The problem isn't people who want to use the bathroom. It's the expenditure of millions of dollars to provide bathroom access to around a half-dozen people a year.

Same rationale that puts signs in Braille on the drive-up tellers at banks.

There is a certain level of carbon dioxide in the air that is required to sustain the conversion of it to oxygen. The current levels are far in excess of this requirement. Restricting carbon dioxide to that level will not destroy plants.

I'm surprised you put "Conservative" and "Marxist" in the same sentence. That's an anathema if I ever heard one.

I think one of Stossel's main points was that the handicapped are not hired because of the potential for problems that they represent. Business owners just can't take a chance on hiring someone who, if they get ticked off because they can't get through a doorway, sue the heck out of the owner instead of trying to work out a solution.

Yeah, and McDonalds won't hire then until they are 18 for all the same reasons (see above).
