Here is the answer to your amazement at his 42% approval rating. Keep in mind that half the population is below the median IQ. And this half is Obama's base and are responsible for him being elected and re-elected. If everyone in the US had any intelligence at all his approval rating would be 0 !!
As usual, Ann has written a wonderful article. The problem is that the half of the population that are below the median IQ won't read it and the few that do won't understand it. It is this half that are below the median IQ that are responsible for Obama being elected and re-elected
Hey Darby, Jean was just honestly expressing what 80% of Americans think of Obama. Not much you can do to soft pedal it. The 20% who like Obama are part of the population that is below the median IQ and are the unemployed freeloaders.
Article said Bush's approval rating was 34% and Obama's is now 37%. However, keep in mind that, in general, the polls are run by the left wing main stream media who are massively biased to the left in favor of Democrats and against Republicans and have been for decades. So, the polls are rigged to produce the results the MSM wants. If honest polls had been taken when Bush left office his approval rating would have been more like 45%. If an honest poll were run on Obama today his approval rating would now be about 20%. I have to believe that the people in the MSM must think that they and their children will be immune to the disasters that are being done and will be done by Obama and his policies. Perhaps this is because most are so vastly overpaid and have so much money that they will be able to withstand the future with no pain.

The Nobel Committee has lost all of what little credibility they had left when they awarded Obama the peace prize. Now they are simply a laughing stock.

Prison Hunger Strike a Dangerous Game

The sensible solution to hunger strikes is to not force feed them, ignore them and let them starve to death. Once the word got out that this was official policy for all prisons there would be no more hunger strikes,

Are We Detroit?

Wally123 Wrote: Aug 19, 2013 10:51 AM
Here is some history: Liberal policies have caused damage to Detroit starting back about 50 years ago. In the early 1920s and on into the 1950s Detroit was the wealthiest city in the world. It had the highest per capita income, the highest percentage of home ownership, the highest per capita value of real estate, fabulous parks, museums, wonderful schools, fine public buildings and homes, a great theater district and more. By the mid 1950s its population had grown to 1.87 million and it had the largest department store in the world (Hudsons) which employed 12,000 people. In the 1950s Detroit’s schools were the finest in the country. Liberal policies caused people to leave starting in the late ‘50s and continued, until today it is below 700,000. The people who left were those who were financially able to do so with the result that although Detroit lost more than half its population it lost 80% of its wealth. The once best in the country school system is now the worst in the country, crime is among the worst and much of the city looks like a bombed out war zone. All due to Democrats and their liberal left wing policies.
