You can tell the liberals are politicizing a tragedy when their solution does not solve the problem. The liberals are dancing in the blood of children. Here is a legislative proposal: Let the teachers at each school decide if they want to arm. Couple this with school vouchers so parents can decide if they want their kids going to an armed school or gun free school. If teachers do not want to arm then parents should be allowed to volunteer. Great platform for 2014!

I propose that schools offer a bonus to any school employee who gets their permit and is armed at work.
it's cheaper than paying armed guards or police salaries and benefits. Employees with CONCEALED guns complicates any attack to where it will not occur. It works in Israel.

This can be done on the County level. I propose that at least 25% of teachers and administrators be required to have access to firearms at each school. The ones with access would not be known to the students or general public as not to make them targets, just like air marshals. If not enough adults at any school reach the 25% minimum then reassignment would be necessary to bring all schools within requirements. If county wide there are not enough then teachers or administrators should be recruited to fill positions.

Must every tragic mass shooting bring out the shrill ignorance of "gun control" advocates?

The key fallacy of so-called gun control laws is that such laws do not in fact control guns. They simply disarm law-abiding citizens, while people bent on violence find firearms readily available.

If gun control zealots had any respect for facts, they would have discovered this long ago, because there have been too many factual studies over the years to leave any serious doubt about gun control laws being not merely futile but counterproductive.

Places and times with the strongest gun control laws have...
