It's just the anti-immigration issues Hispanics are people of different opinions and ideals, contrary to republican belief. Allow me share a bit of gratitude: Dear Teapublican Party: We the Democrats would like to extend our condolences on your epic defeat, and to show you that we have no hard feelings we would like to tell you to please feel free to remain as ignorant as you all are today. Please keep up with the great work you people are doing to alienate, women, Hispanics, blacks, Asians, the middle class, the poor, and any new group you might identify as being progressive thinking.

We really believe you are doing a great job, and hey don't worry about actually losing seats in the Senate too, and to REAL liberals this time, because come 2014, you will probably lose even more, with that great job of division, loathing and hate you are all doing. Please keep pampering the rich, while calling the middle class and poor lazy moochers, that want gifts and handouts. By all means please do continue to legislate women's rights away over their own bodies, because we all know that old, white men know what is best for women and their bodies, and do keep talking about that "r" word, and tell women they really can't be sure if it is real or not, so you will tell them.

Please just keep doing what you are doing, and keep nominating old, white, rich elitists, who can magically morph into whatever they need to be for that day, or week or election, because as you can see, it is working out so well for us the Dems, and we would appreciate seeing you hasten your party's demise. Just think of it as doing what is best for your country.

it is your country too, fool. you cant just destroy the country that conservatives and other sensible people live in. you are destroying your own home. remember that while you triumphantly cut your nose off to spite your face. when the invading colonizers you welcome to destroy our country relegate you to second class citizen, you might be able to see what a fool you are.

A great political party with a long history can survive defeat, even learn from it and grow stronger. But a party that does not learn from its defeats, that appears unable to adapt and grow, cannot remain great. It will join the extensive collection of long-ago American parties, like the Federalists and Whigs and many another, as just another artifact of American history.

After its defeat in this year's presidential election, the Republican Party has much to learn. The principal theme of its presidential ticket -- fiscal responsibility and the economic growth it could underwrite -- was obscured by the...
