Tom Sowell, does make excellent points, and I can see it has inspired some degree of thought in the minds of some of those who thought they knew what was wrong with the African American, and in reality the true question should be what is wrong MAN, because we all suffer from being human "none without sin" remember? Yet Sowell pose another question, which has been the subject of debate since ancient times, "Nature vs Nurture" . Now before any of you assume you know the answer, perhaps it would be wise to abandon what you think you know, and consider the factors involved, the debate is not for the indolent, or those who wish to impress. Even though Sowell could not add the psychological factors, you should consider them in analysis.

In reality: as shown by REAL artifacts, ancient White Greeks, who originated in Central Asia: by the classical period, were mostly a mixed-race people, owing to admixture with the original Black Europeans they encountered when they arrived in Europe (circa 1,200 B.C.). Troy was an Anatolian City, REAL artifacts clearly show that Anatolians were Black people. Jesus was a Hebrew, REAL artifacts clearly show that Hebrews were Black people, same with Persians and Egyptians.

"While (obviously) many blacks are highly intelligent (Sowell, Williams, etc.), there just aren't enough of them for blacks, as a group, to produce a culture/civilization worth living in. " Over time each Civilization rise and fall, your history is limited, which of course limits your views. It was once said, "we can not go beyond our level of awareness"; your opinion is respected but to people of higher learning who truly seek answers, it is the babble of a child. Perhaps the following will help and others understand: Beginning during the renaissance and even earlier, European artists took to depicting historical people, as they hoped or imagined them to look. And in doing so, they made everyone White, but that is not reality.
You are wasting your time, don't you get it, all you hear on TH are victims blaming President Obama, for everything from Cancer to erupting Volcanoes. Some people find pleasure hate, it's classical, step on someone to give yourself a false sense of importance. And it's always the ones, who has accomplished the lease. It's their coping tool, and without it they most likely will go insane. Let the have their medicine, I'm positive they are suffering enough.
You can not arrest an individual, until he acts. and the budget will not allow for 24 hour surveillance for two years. So what do they do? I've been thinking about that also. Originally they didn't even know who he was even after having the photos.
Sorry about the error, I meant "caught", sometime they get caught.
You are correct, it is indeed disgusting, but I live in the real world and trust me when I tell you people still use that word, and worse. Sometime they get catch for example: Jim Gile, a Republican commissioner in Saline County, Kansas, used an offensive racial slur during an argument with a fellow commissioner, but he wants everyone to know that he isn’t a racist because he’s “built Habitat homes for colored people,” and also that he has a black friend: Gile, who is white, can be heard to say the county needed to hire an architect to design the improvements rather than “n[*]gger-rigging it.”
Drifter33, you see what you wish to see, there nothing I can say to that, what you call Robin Hood scheme I've not witness. Yes we have social programs, yes they can be monitored better, I agree, but if you only look at social programs for remedy, you would still pay the same taxes. I know and have seen the waste in Military Contracts, GSA, GAO, and a number Government agencies. There is no Robin Hood scheme, it's waste. Pure and simple. This why I think the Sequester is in some ways a good idea, because it forces Agencies to manage their budget much better.
Actually Taxation was well establish before the US Constitution was written. Which is why it sas so important to have Representatives in Congress, to control the Taxation laws. Allow me to take you back perhaps then you will understand: The Great Compromise.
I agree there is a great amount of waste, and there should be greater checks and balance on the government powers. But it's foolish to just look in one area, or one aspect for solutions. We have to be much smarter than anything I've heard from conservatives. They say cut Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, welfare, unemployment compensation , and anything people rely on when things get rough, but keep the Corp welfare, they need it. Something is terribly wrong with that picture, at least for me, and apparently the majority. We have to be more responsible than that, there is a better way, and we should be focused on finding it together.
Wow! do you claim to have a better system than the founding Fathers, because they are the ones who set up the system for the states to pay into Federal Gov., and for good reasons, can you think of any? If not than who ever taught you, failed you. The South tried to set up a system such as you proposed, back in 1860, it did not work out so well for them, and it definitely will not work out now. Contrary to what you may believe we are not in the world alone, and the world will not leave us alone, those tax dollars keep us safe, do wish to give that up?
