No, the liberals weren't talking about the economy during the first 4 years of Bush because it was going well riding the wave of Clinton surplus. WE were saying that we shouldn't be in 2 wars that we started and have a prescription drug benefit without a way to pay for it. Corporations have had record profits over the past 4 years...and guess what? They're not hiring by the droves, they're sitting on their money. But I'm SURE if we just give them another tax cut they'll do the right thing and start hiring, right?
