There are two undisputed reasons health care costs are high in this country.
One: Un/under insured people. Our emergency rooms are over-run every day because of non-emergency related things. When you’re left with one option because you have no insurance and the only place you can go to get treated for colds is the emergency room you go there. They have to treat you. We pay for those treatments.
Two: Healthcare suppliers over-charge. It's the old 90 dollars for a hammer song and dance. You can’t post 300 percent plus profits and tell me you didn't over-charge. They sell prescriptions for 190 dollars a bottle and then generics start coming out and the price drops to 50 dollars a bottle. Even at 50 they still...
