What a reversal from just a few decades ago when an American living, travelling overseas could discuss with foreigners how the U.S. press was independent of political parties in contradistinction to most western European or free Pacific nations. We didn't have the Axel Springer press issues of the then Federal Republic or the restrictive party organs of the French and Anglo press. Even when it was the big tree in broadcast and the big national daily papers, Americans believed that the five "W"'s trumped any control agendas. Now, overseas, an American talking about press coverage would need to delineate the source and make the necessary disclaimers. Wow--the Benetton(isation) of the NEWS.

Well, well, well.  As the MSM continues to ignore the litany of manifest Obama failures and proclaim the Romney campaign dead on a weekly basis, the American people have decided . . . they can't trust the MSM coverage.

This new Gallup poll should (but won't) alert the media that its unabashed Obama-love is flushing its professional integrity into the sewer.  It finds that 60% have little or no confidence that the news will be reported fairly.  And note that:
