Mitt Romney's Character

CSPAN for every convention moment. I lose the HD but, its worth it to have gavel to gavel and you can go back to the cable biggies when they are covering the stage. The banners across the screen are out of control these days--at least CSPAN keeps theirs in check.

Mitt Romney's Character

Ms. Edmonds for me was a happy warrior. Just a stellar presentation by a bright face with a story to tell. She's headed to DC if she wants come January. The historic Romney family friends and fellowship speakers announced the good news of a life lived beyond well and good by Mitt Romney. What stories, --- the Last Will and Testament of a deceased 14 yr. old boy and the soft caress of Mitt Romney on the back of a premie girl infant as her frightened Mom looked on. How many of us can say we could elicit such testimony from those that know us well?
The Michigan delegations Gerald Ford tribute is sweet. Imagine the possibilites when someday Democrats from Illiinois manifest a tribute to Mr. Obama---

'The fault dear Barack is not in your birth but in yourself'---and therein is the sad tale told as joke.
Good back hand slap to the Obama Administration if correct. I realized with Twitter, as an active user, that the follower count was useless. No one really looks at the posts of hundreds or thousand of follower tweets. My 'theory of the case' is to use Twitter and reach the target audience by way of topic using hash tags. I've avoided following entirely-- save for military-terror info and one blond. Even Twitter is starting to advise users to be more discerning in their following/follower use. Twitter is a fine platform and will be alive long after Facebook joins Friendster but using it is a skill.

A Risky Strategy for Democrats

Regrettably, Mr. Akin has given our foe endless analogies and mockery lines. If the Democrats are true to form, they’ll over play the Akin hand and do as Ms. Liebau suggests, turn the business into a Democrat feast on the fetus. Democrats are notorious for over reading their ‘mandates’ n’est-ce pas? J ust yesterday, the press reports that VP Biden will visit the Tampa area during the GOP Convention in Tampa????? HUH? ‘For Reelz Dude’? When in the history of modern American national contests has the opposing party campaigned in the town where their opponents are nominating their standard bearer? These Obama-Jarrett-Axelrod Democrats are an anathema to American cultural and political standards--but then again, so is Todd Akin.

Losing the "Cool" Factor

vonryansexpress Wrote: Aug 20, 2012 10:18 AM
Ha, Willy Mays was cool, Joe Lewis, Frank Sinatra, call that roll but otherwise, "cool" is a real pitfall for those that chase it. Being cool has left women in low waist jeans when their better look was behind them and men in muscle shirts before they got the muscles. Trendy in politics based on some illusory 'cool', is an equally bad fit. Trouble with cool is that often it isn't. Sheeple doing some "Baa Ram Ewe" to a lock-step. Barack Obama is to cool what he is to competentcy. The desire to be "cool" has more tools than members.
