Unfortunately, the incumbent Prez also mentioned "global warming" as one of the things Americans need to fight against. Doesn't sound very good... As for becoming independent of foreign oil, he should be prodded to open all the possibilities of using US own energy sources (yes, including coal: just have to apply serious filters to the chimneys) and also open up, for Pete's sake, the pipeline from Canada.

Those who may be disheartened and dismayed over Tuesday's election results might want to consider this: Our nation is strong and resilient, and the results must be used as an opportunity to learn rather than an opportunity to lay blame.
