EBT Abuse: The Cash-for-Drunkards Program

The other casualty in all this is compassion. Our church has a food pantry. Every time I see the boxes of food, I now wonder how many of the people coming through the door (mostly non-members) "need" food from churches because they are using their EBT money for other things. There are probably some who are truly needy -- but I've lost my give-a-d*mn. This is not an accident. The Marxist plan to divide us has been wildly successful.

Compassion only works among civilized peoples.
Has to go out the window where savages are concerned.

I saw something similar with the USMC's Toys for Tots this Christmas. The toys are not given directly to the kids - they are given to the parents. Some parents would take the toy immediately to Wal-Mart (or some other store) for refund/exchange and use the cash or store credit to get stuff for themselves.
From New York to New Mexico and across the dependent plains, welfare recipients are getting sauced on the public dime. Drunk, besotted, bombed. But while politicians pay lip service to cutting government waste, fraud and abuse, they're doing very little in practice to stop the EBT party excesses. Where's the compassion for taxpayers?

You see the signs everywhere: "We accept EBT." Fast-food restaurants do. Clothing retailers do. Auto repair shops, liquor stores and even sushi joints are joining the club. "EBT" stands for the federal government's electronic benefits transfer card, which is intended to provide poor people with food stamps and cash...
