" ... By way of context, I’m a Tea Party member. I helped organize the original Tea Party events in Los Angeles, ... " I don't know how your L.A. group is faring, but many others are suffering from low self esteem and low funding. Finding out that their troubles are not actually self-inflicted - but derive from a program that crippled of fund raising abilities - has breathed new life into TEA Party members. Gathering to display their discontent with the IRS is like a shot in the arm, and acts a catalyst for bringing in new members who now see a reason to become active. Never let a crisis go to waste, they say, and we are going to ride this one till it breaks a leg.

Tyranny is no Longer 'Lurking'

Many gun owners ... a growing percentage of them ... beliee that they must keep guns to resist government tyranny. Piers Morgan has made a lot of money (lately) ridiculing gun owners who share that belief. Recently, reacting to all of these scandals, and especially the IRS problem, Mr. Morgan has publicly opined that maybe this government is showing signs of a tyrannical inclination, after all.
Low-lwvwl people in the IRS may have been DOING the trageting, but I am certain they didn't do that without orders from above. My wife retired from IRS as a GS-12 Revenue Officer ... roughly equal to a Major in the military. To take on a project like the one described, she would first need refief from her existing case load so she could make time for the 'targeting'. Then she would need assurances from above that she would be protected from prosecution for an activity that she was fully aware was illegal. Few low-level types would shed their principals to act so illegally. But those few who might would never do so on their own.
Americans who really liked GW Bush still fought him to a standstill over amnesty. We have not changed our minds on that issue, and the eight in this gang are fools to think that we have. Here is a bill we can accept ... "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" Step 1 ... Deny all public assistance to illegals. Step 2 ... Jail time (not fines) for employers of illegals. Step 3 ... Seal the border. Step 4 ... Wait five years to gauge the effect of 1, 2, & 3.
I have a feeling that if she were to debate Joe Biden (on any subject), an international panel would decree that waterboarding is a kinder form of treatment.
I'd say she is at least qualified to be Vice President ...
" ... One could easily argue Limbaugh has left a bigger footprint on the media landscape in the past two decades than Barbara Walters in her five decades ... " Uhh ... yeah! Walters will be rememberd for teary interviews and not much else.

Collusion and Corruption at the IRS

Don't ask Obama to lead an effort to find and punish those in the IRS who are responsible. Assuming that he DIDN'T order the harassment himself, Obama will simply drivel, dribble, and drool until enough time has passed for Jay Carney to say 'that's old news'.
That advice is bound to fall on deaf ears. The only thing Nappy hears are those thoughts already rattling around inside her thick skull. Heck, she still thinks the border is secure ... just as she did when Governor of Arizona. No new thoughts, please. She wouldn't know what to do with them ... even if she COULD hear them.

It seems like he screws up every time. Has Obama done the right thing even once since 2008 ... anything?
