Both parties have been out of control for some time but at least G.W. Bush loved rather than hated the USA. At least Laura Bush didn't feel "good about her country for the first time" when G.W. was elected.

Ol Flame, Would you rather have Families Homeless after this intentionally created wealth transfer scheme? How unAmerican? And Crony, Vulture Capitalistic?

Dan are you Dense? Suppose you take an accelerant of 2% interest and then add in some stimulus of stated income, interest only, adjustable rates for the unsuspecting, cap gains, then speculators and all the homw flipping shows talking about how easy it is and then the ability to bundle all this hyped up speculation and pass it onto our unsuspecting neighbors around the world that have no idea of the inflationary stupidity going on thousands of miles away? Hell Dan even you could pretend success under those circumstances for a while? Maybe? Don't be a fool and dont be a liar because the truth is you probably know all this and are playing dumb? Or not?

Do you recall which party took control of the House and the Senate? (you know, those 535 people who write the laws and spend the money?)

"That" means what, exactly?

Pronouns without a referent don't communicate.

Let's not forget perpetual unemployment benefits.

Roy,

First of all, of course you're confused. You're a liberal.

Second, please define "smoke and mirrors." If you're referring to the housing market we all know who was to blame for that and it certainly was not Bush.

But the true FACT of the matter is that nobody in the history of the U.S. has ever used smoke and mirrors more often or more effectively than Obama. He uses Fed pumping to keep the stock market at a ridiculously inflated level. He uses food stamps, welfare, mortgage bailouts and tax "refunds" - all on a credit card - to insulate his voters from the economic agony they would otherwise be feeling. And when that's not enough, he relaxes the disability requirements to get them a back-door welfare payout.

Roy, how do you explain the success of the American economy until Jan 3, 2007?
DoctorRoy Wrote: Mar 25, 2013 9:25 AM
I'm confused by that. Say you are right and Bush loved his country while Obama hates it. If the outcome is the same and both went down the same road it really didn't make much difference did it? I mean it kind of blurs the line between love and hate doesn't it?

Hey good news everybody.

People are still losing jobs at a faster rate than we’re creating them.

Thank God for the best recession in the history of mankind.

And thank God for Barack Obama being the best recessionary president in the history of mankind.

"This is the best looking contraction in GDP you'll ever see," says Paul Ashworth, chief U.S. economist at Capital Economics.

Yeah, just think about how great everything would look if Barack Obama wasn’t president, er… I mean: how bad everything would look.
