Totally agree. I saw it from the beginning.
First of all, we are not a democracy, we are a republic - learn the difference. Secondly I have many friends in Canada and England who would come to the US for "serious" medical conditions if they could, and some have. Socialist medicine is mediocre at best and very expensive since the government runs it. The problem is not the doctors and the hospitals who do a fabulous job, it is our litigious society, the insurance industry and big-pharma, the AMA, the AARP and others who are constantly lobbying DC and finding willing participants in the financial rape of all of us in our corrupt Congress. That is the REAL issue. This horrible bit of legislation will never work. It was not designed to work. It was designed to CONTROL a huge % of the GDP and "we the people". Its problem is that it is so bad it can't even get off the ground. It was supposed to fail 3 to 4 years down the road when the government could heroically ride in and "save" us with a single payer system. If you want proof of that, I will aim you at You Tube where you can find Obama saying specifically that to his union buddies and Reid saying the same thing just last week. I have a hard time believing how stupid you liberals are - but then you go and prove it over and over again.
The economic debacle so closely follows what happened in pre-WWII Germany that it is downright scary. Just as the German Mark became scorned, so will the US dollar as it will lose its place as the world's reserve currency and then all hell will break loose. Double, perhaps triple, digit inflation will take over. At first it will be the "takers" that become destitute followed by the "makers" as salaries cannot possibly keep up with inflation. What a wonderful gift to leave to our grandchildren.
People flipping burgers, making minimum wage and working part time are included in this very slanted survey. They do not get paid vacation. Just about every company that has full time workers has at least 2 weeks paid vacation or they wouldn't have employees.
Wow! You would put Congress "out of bounds". Perhaps you are correct. They do belong in an asylum and I agree with that restriction. If not, we would have Nurse Mildred Ratchet armed and Valerie Jarret is bad enough without being armed.

You missed the real issue - big time. The problem is Islam, not radical Islam. The 99% you mention have not and will not report on the 1%. That makes them even more complicit than the 1%. They want a one world caliphate and secretly enjoy what the 1% are doing. They do nothing to stop the destruction of churches and synagogues, the murders of Coptic Christians and Jews. There is no outrage in the Islamic communities. To do nothing in the face of evil is to be evil. P.S. It is substantially more than 1%.
There will be unintended consequences with or without the Fed. Currently Bernanke is flooding the market with close to one trillion $ per year with no increase in GDP to back it. To offset what should be a resulting rampant inflation, he is having the big institutional investors short gold to keep it from climbing to $5-6,000 an ounce. The investors have everything to lose if they don't. Remember, only the big boys on Wall Street are raking in the bucks, just about everyone else is hurting. This indelicate monetary balancing act will end with a no-confidence vote on the US dollar by major players like China and Russia with many SE Asian countries following suit along with the Swiss, Aussies, Canadians, etc. Our economy will totally collapse

Both parties have been out of control for some time but at least G.W. Bush loved rather than hated the USA. At least Laura Bush didn't feel "good about her country for the first time" when G.W. was elected.

The socialist trolls can't do anything more than take up space that is much better put to other uses. When the economy finally blows up thanks to the DC spendaholics, they will be unprepared and the first casualties to the rioting of the moochers. Good riddance.

Hey, John. You got the loonies to come out of the closet on this one. As soon as the average person fully understands that both parties are at fault, both parties are spendaholics, the sooner we can start to force them to do what is right for us , not them. Neither party has the guts to make major changes to Social Security, Medicare, and, oh yes, ObamaCare - the biggest boondoggle of all that is not about health care but is about control. Bush spending was out of control and Obama spending is Bush spending on steroids. At least the Dems figured out how to win with it - get the takers to outnumber the makers and you can steamroll the entire economy with no (personal) repercussions. Both sides will be pointing fingers as the economy tanks.

If everyone were taxed at 100% the US would still run through that money in slightly less than 11 months. The problem is not revenue, it is spending. Revenue can not solve the problem. Apparently whatever doctor you might be, you didn't have to study math and economics to become it.
