You clearly have never really studied any kind of religion with an open mind. We don't follow 'religious regulations' like automatons. We follow the ten commandments because we see wisdom in them. Nobody is ever perfect at doing this - all humanity is flawed - but because we actually study the Bible, rather than taking scattered verses out of context, we understand the reasoning behind the standards set forth in that great book.
