This is a good article that clearly shows research. I might also add that there is a growing sentiment of discontent with politics in general and a feeling that simply casting a vote does not make much of a difference. In talking about my sadness and anger with other people about the election results, everyone seems to want to move on despite the potential for a disasterous four more years.
