Something overlooked by Mr. York is the elimination of HSA which are known as Health Savings Accounts. The have been eliminated as of January 2013. I look as this as another form of tax because we will no longer be able to take $3,000.00 put into an HSA and have that money be tax deductible and used to help with medical costs not covered by our insurance plan. Of course the letter and notice we received says nothing about this being the result of the Affordable Care Act. Welcome to the new normal. By the way we are not in 1 or 2% and I am also one of the people with a pre-existing condition otherwise known as cancer that I battled 19 years ago. So much for the proposed help...from the government.
