I think it all has to do with the "new normal". The pro-gay movement has been fighting this battle for so long that it is now considered politically incorrect to disagree and the religious sector does not want to be viewed as bigoted. Just like the last debacle with the SCOTUS vote on Obamacare, I think this will not be a vote that will have some of us upset. Even though I have a brother who is gay and "married", I personally still believe in the original definition of marriage. My brother does belong to a "gay" temple (we are Jewish) which always struck me as a little odd.

Thanks for a great article that articulates what many of us feel which is powerless in the shadow of a government that has grown way too big. The most frustrating thing about all of this is watching the country slide further and further into something unrecognizable.

With the support of the media, it seems as if less and less people are aware or care about the agenda that this president continues to push through onto the American people. Just look at Benghazi.......

Good article that plainly explains what many of us already understand, Israel has been placating the Palestinans for years and their reward has been continued violence. Taking any advice from this president would be a disaster for Israel. It is hard to understand how my fellow Jews voted for this man who continues to show that he does not have Israel's back.

Personally with Barack Obama in office, optimism is not a word I would care to use.

As a landowner in PA where the fracking for NG is occurring I appreciated your article. BTW, some of the people who live in sections of land in NY where there is NG that is part of the Marcellus Shale that is also in PA and other states want to form a new state because of the moratorium on drilling. It is hard to blame them when like sections of PA where the drilling is going on these parts of NY have been economically depressed for years. It is easy for the liberal entertainers to be critical, after all for them money is not an issue!

Thanks for a well written article that explains the guaranteed protection of the second amendment. The battle by this government led by Barack Obama to limit our rights is a determined fight by those who would deny our freedoms. How he can be stopped remains the biggest question.

Instead of focusing on yet another election, you would think he would focus on being the leader of the free world. As for legacy, it is not looking too good.
