Made your guess? Was it 1 percent? Because that's what it is. Even accounting for veterans, it goes up to 2%. And, while it may be difficult, being separated from a loved one in your safe middle America home is a helluva lot different than being separated and also being in a hot, dusty country filled with thousands of men who want nothing more than to kill you.
