For a good study of the Alger Hiss betrayal in our nation is the must read "Witness" by Whitaker Chambers. Never more important than now. This government too, as then, has been infiltrated by those who have a desire to bring down the nation.
Point 2 right on: It is unbelievable how many people that claim the title of Christian do think Jesus was all about social justice. Sojourners, anyone? Point 4: So few people have any understanding of end time events or the signs of the time. They don't study for themselves and few preachers even bother to study to keep the people up on second coming theology. Most Christians are still on first coming. Christians are expecting to be raptured out of tribulation, again not discerning the difference between the between tribulation and God's wrath. The problem in Christiandom is not getting past elementary things.

The beginning of "clockwork orange" in Britain?
RE: elderly woman behind counter. Thanks for the much needed reminder of those things that are truly important. I was just discussing at work yesterday my own rude, impatient behavior in similar circumstance. I'm 65 but am considered ADD and often run over people. Who do I think I am? I know that which is right but why do I not practice it? Romans 7:18-19

RE: Democratic Presidents vacations: Has anyone, beside myself, ever noticed the fact that our last two Democrat Presidents were homeless men. While serving their terms in office when taking vacations they never go back to where they lived before office. Bush went to his ranch, so on with previous Republican Presidents. I doubt either Mr or Mrs Obama will return to Chicago when their term expires. I think one of our commentators could write a good commentary on this unmentioned fact.

Republicans Nullifying Conservatives

Re:Republicans nullify conservatives. I believe the Steele leadership is a precursor to what Romney would offer as President if he were to obtain that position. Republicans counting on true conservatives and people of faith to support them because of the consequences of re-electing Obama may not have come to terms with how tired conservatives are with Republican double talk. I supported McCain because of Palin on the ticket, no matter how conservative Romney might choose his VP I am no longer supporting the Republican ticket. I am preparing my personal life and household for drastic changes to come in the future of this once great land.
Ibarnes, of course he does good works. Its a tenet of his religion.
