I like Marco Rubio in most topics but he is just not going to be a best choice as the first American President of Hispanic descent since he is so soift on amnesty For that reason, my preference for the candidate to fill tat position on the ballot for 2016 is instead Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, another good representative of Cuban descent who believes in upholding the law and will make a fine Reaganesque President as a conservative.

Indeed, and it is only the T.E.A. Party Republicans like Ted Cruz and Rand Paul et. al. who have had the courage of their convictions to stand in strong and unwavering defense of our values so these are the patriots we should be promoting to higher office and let their gleaming example be the one followed by the rest of the House and Senate. Ted Cruz for President in 2016 is a good place to initiate that positive change.

OK, so let all conservatives then unite behind Ted Cruz for President in 2016, which is the way to help America survive going into the future. It took a Carter to get a Reagan. So now it may have taken an Obama to get a President Cruz - we should be so fortunate!

Actually, rather than being destructive,. the conservatism of the T.E.A. Party stands to be the only potential for revival the GOP has remaining because as Rush has so often stated it is when we embrace and promote conservative principles that we win but when we become DNC Lite we lose. After 2 presidential elections of DNC Lite, it is time for positive change. Ted Cruz for President in 2016, to the rescuing of both his party and the nation.

The T.E.A. Party faction of the GOP is not DNC Lite and that includes patriots such as Senators Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and others. True conservatives need to unite and fight to take back the party, to the rescuing of both the Republican Party and the nation.

It is up to not just the GOP but to the House, Senate and Supreme Court There were even a few honorably honest members of the DNC who tried to get it addressed by the high court, to no avail. Everyone was repeatedly told they had no standing to bring it to their attention,. so they refused to hear the cases. It's a mystery to me, unless spooky dude Soros is paying them all off under the table to let it slide! Who knows?.

That issue was discussed at full length on Phyllis Schlafly's Eagle Rising newsletter and it was discerned that he is in fact fully qualified and eligible to run, as much as was Senator McCain. Ted was born on an American air force base in Canada which is deemed as much American soil as are our embassies around the world. His father is a naturalized American citizen and his mother was born here in Delaware, so yes, he is in fact fully qualified to run and is among the best rising star conservatives in the T.E.A. Party faction of the Republican Party. I would be delighted to see someone sent to the Oval office who would stand up to despot Castro rather than hugging him like a long lost buddy as Obama disgracefully did at the Mandela funeral recently. Run, Ted, RUN...you are going to be fully supported by most Hispanics as well as by the conservative base of the party in addition to patriotic Independents who care about the future of America!

When Senator Cruz stood for over 21 hours on the floor of the Senate fighting for de-funding of the socialized medicine bill which is vehemently opposed to this day by fully 2/3 of the electorate and over 83% of physicians, he earned my full support for running for the Presidency in 2016. We need just such a strong voice willing to fight for the expressed will of We the People, the very type of voice which is sorely lacking to Washington today. Ted accurately reflects my Christian life repecting as well as my patriotic values and with a grandmother whose maiden name was Gimenez it would be truly delightful to see him become the first American President of Hispanic descent as well. Run, Ted, RUN...many are fully prepared to back you...all the way to th e White House!
