Breaking: Obama Endorses Gay Marriage

It is a tragic that the POTUS seeks to redefine what it means to be human - male and female, mother and father, husband and wife. He is also always causing division - racial (black vs. white vs. Latino), gender (women vs. men), economic (rich vs. poor), faith (secular vs. religious), political (Democrat vs. Republican) etc. Now he is dividing us in Homosexual vs. Heterosexual. He is the most divisive leader in our nation's history. Where has he ever united us? What unites us is our Constitution, our history, and our liberty.
Romney will be a great executive, leader, and administrator in this time of economic misery, horrible debt, and government mismanagement. This current administration just seems to be salivating over every dollar I make, ready to take it and disperse it to whatever suits them. But Romney does need to put on the flannel shirt and go bowling or something to that end. He needs to connect with people on an emotional and visceral level with those earning less than 50K.
I agree... Watergate wasn't his legacy, Prison Fellowship was his life's work. The title of the article is so condescending. The article typically follows liberal media genre of painting Evangelical Christians in as negative as possible portrait.
Chuck is a great picture of redemption. Evil genius to humbled sinner working and living by grace. Prison Fellowship worked with the worst of society. I applaud his legacy. Its not how you start, but how you finish.
Nice 1st person narrative on Mary. I can see why you won the Pulitzer! The calling of someones name is so important - so relational and connected to personhood. What a privilege it was to be the first person to talk to Jesus after the Resurrection! It was a woman too! Women were lower class citizens during in both Roman and Jewish cultures at that time.
Class warfare, racism, envy, and victimization are always at the heart of the dialogue of the Left. Restaurant work is very hard - 7 days a week and 15 hour days! The same goes for most small business owners. It is so sad to see this politician, who has no idea of what hard work is, disparage hard working Asians.

When a person is wearing a hoodie, especially one the covers the entire face, you really can't tell the age or the race. It was also dark and rainy. It is a tragedy. However, many who are using this as a black issue is an exploitation of a tragedy. It is inciting racism and a continual sense of victimization. There are tragic, senseless, and horrible murders that happen every day in our cities involving all ages and races.

Then I salute you. But you would be in the minority viewpoint of your generation. I can trace my heritage back 37 Generations (Southern China). My parents and grandparents took meticulous records on our clan. Marriage and family are intrinsically and inseparably tied together. You should know, of all people, how important a mother and a father is in raising children. Why equate gay marriage with heterosexual marriage?

I will agree that it has wrongfully been a male-dominated institution. A true Biblical perspective points to marriage as a partnership (Genesis 1-3, written 3,500 years ago). One of the Ten Commandments is to honor your father and your mother. Marriage has been defined, whether Biblical or not, across culture and history as one woman and one man. All other "marriages" were extreme statistical minorities. It seems those who want redefine marriage typically are young, never married, or married and divorced, and never had to raise a family.

Marriage has not been constantly redefined. Liberal thought always has a tendency for historical revisionism. Polygamy was only for the extremely rich and powerful and was used for political purposes. It was not a marriage in any traditional sense. Polygamy, like homosexuality, or transgender behavior, will always be an aberration in human life and those who practice it, an extremely small percentage of the human population.
