Yep, you love these guys, which is why you keep putting them in office. I, on the other hand, love Ted Cruz and Ted Poe. I wish I was in Poe's district, but I'll take some credit for help Cruz into office. If you want change, be the change. Make it happen and find some real leaders.

DeTejan-I'm in the district that was Ron Paul's and our new rep is Randy Weber. The next district over is Pete Olsen. He got a 100% conservative rating when they released the ratings last week. Poe's wasn't quite as good. He was in the80-100% bracket. I loved Ted Poe as a judge, but I've been just a tiny bit disappointed with him as a Congresscritter. I went to church with his grandparents for 30 years and I've met his parents many times. He comes from a really nice family. Who is your rep?

Yesterday was the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in the Rockaways in New York City. The area was hard hit during Hurricane Sandy and has had a hard time recovering after the storm. Mayor Bloomberg, who was featured in the parade, was booed by the Rockaway residents after his lack of leadership and help after the storm. The New York Post covered the story:

Locals didn’t spare their ire over the area’s slow recovery, hoisting signs reading, “Mr. Mayor, we need jetties” and “Listen to the Rockaways.”
