Scrolling down, I see that JET is hung up on day and night without sun. To me, this is one of the most fascinating aspects of Creation. Think about it, there is also light without sun! Love it! If you think of the spectrum of light, we now know that we only "see" a tiny portion of it. And yet it is all light. Gamma rays, xrays, yada yada. It's all LIGHT! And God said, "Let there be Light." Big Bang? Works for me? Pure energy. Light. No sun. As to day and night with no sun....TIME. The creation of time. The sun, moon and stars give a means to measure time, but time, came first. So cool!

No, I'm not hung up about it. It just PROVES the creation story is a myth.
You love it? Well, as they say, "Ignorance is bliss".

Sir, (or madam as the case may be), you prove nothing by simply asserting that creation is a myth. You weren't around when it all happened so how can you pretend you know creation is a myth as though you were there? It takes more faith to believe that everything came out of nothing all by itself than to believe that an omnipotent God created it all.

No such thing as electric dirt.

Yes it is. Think about it: a logical progression in order that all may live. Light first, for without it nothing can live. No matter whether it came form a Sun or simply God Himself-for He is light, is He not?

The reality was the people who made up the story were ignorant. They didn't know the earth is a sphere that rotates.

Sorry, but you are simply wrong.

Job knew that the earth seems to be hung on nothing, and Isaiah knew that the Earth wobbles in its orbit.

Now what?

Look in the mirror if you want to see "ignorant". As well as self righteous and smug.

Hung on nothing doesn't mean a sphere. And where does Isaiah say the earth wobbles in its orbit? BTW, accurate descriptions of the earth's shape would not prove the bible is god's inerrant word , but inaccurate ones prove it isn't.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” – Genesis 1:1

Be they theist or be they atheist, on this most scientists agree: In the beginning there was nothing. There was no time, space or matter. There wasn’t even emptiness, only nothingness. Well, nothing natural anyway.

And then, bang! Everything. Nonexistence became existence. Nothing became, in less than an instant, our inconceivably vast and finely tuned universe governed by what mankind would later call – after we too popped into existence from nowhere, fully armed with conscious awareness and the ability to think, communicate and observe – “natural law”...
