vclaire: I believe most physicians would tell you that a medical indication for abortion is a rarity, indeed. You might make a good case that the Federal government has no business making medical decisions...excepting public health measures that would affect our national security. Much harder to make the same case vis a vis the States. Practically speaking, abortion is a personal/political decision, not a medical decision.
