So if my child comes down with cancer or even pneumonia, and I can't afford medical care for him, he just dies? What makes more sense is that we all pool our resources, (as in taxes), and pay for medical care from the pool. Extend Medicare to everyone, improve it, and allow publicly funded, privately delivered healthcare.

Any day now, the U.S. Supreme will rule on whether the Obamacare insurance mandate is constitutional. Seems like a no-brainer to me. How can forcing me to engage in commerce be constitutional?
